David Leon

I was born and raised in Stockton, California.  My parents instilled in us a hard-working attitude as my father was a mill worker and my mother was a bus driver.  They worked long hours, but we had a rich childhood filled with many good memories. In 1997, I decided to serve our nation and took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States with the Navy.  Since 2003, I have been a Naval Aviation Rescue Swimmer with rescue missions of downed aviators, medical evacuations, and tactical flight missions in Iraq.

I married the love of my life, Kimberly, in 2008.  We have three amazing children: Dylan, Tristan, and Sydney.  In 2010, our family found a place to call home and moved to Chesapeake, Virginia.  We are honored to call this great community our home.

After serving in the Navy for nearly 20 years, I am willing and ready to serve my nation and Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District in Congress.  I have taken numerous oaths to protect and defend the Constitution.  I do not take this oath lightly and I will do all I can to defend the Constitution, and the rights bestowed by the Bill of Rights, in Washington D.C.  Many politicians have neglected our Constitution over the years and this needs to end.  The separation of powers, rights, and protections granted by the Constitution need to be protected. I will do all I can to protect the Constitution from D.C. elitists so citizens throughout the Fourth District can enjoy the rights and protections granted by our founding fathers.

As a Conservative, I believe that limited government; fiscal economic responsibility; and protecting our God-given rights to life, liberty, and property are essential to better all of our lives. While in the House of Representatives, I will do all I can to follow our conservative principles.

I am eager to meet even more great citizens throughout the Fourth District during this campaign. With your support, we can make sure our Constitution is protected and conservative principles are followed so we can all enjoy our God-given rights.
