I have had the distinct honor of serving in our nations military for nineteen years, and while my time in service to this nation has brought me blessings, opportunities and experience, it has also brought me closer than most to a significant problem facing our nation today, the care of our veterans.
There are 40,000 (and counting) homeless veterans when one is too many. Many veterans still suffer from an addiction to opioids and are struggling with significant mental illnesses that many of us could only understand in nightmares. On top of that, entering the workforce can be a significant struggle for these brave men and women, and unemployment rates among veterans is 5.1 percent as of 2016.
Our nation should serve those who have served us. As your congressman, I assure you that Veterans Affairs will be a priority and I will not rest until we begin to chip away and the previously mentioned statistics. Most importantly, veterans will come before politics, party, and money with me as your representative.
They took care of us, now we MUST take care of them.
Candidate for the Republican Nomination for Congress
Virginia Fourth Congressional District
We would love your help getting signatures from people throughout the Fourth District. You can get signatures from your family, friends, neighbors, and church congregation. If you would like to help get David on the primary ballot, please fill out the information below.
Again, Donald McEachin decided to attack our campaign in another bombastic email, this time for being a conservative. No matter what attack McEachin decides to lob at me, I will always stay true to my principles.
The most telling thing about the emails McEachin sends out is not the latest attack but rather what it is missing. McEachin does not mention what he is going to do to help the people of Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District. He mentions only that because of my conservative values, the Fourth District would be better off with him as their congressman. I don’t know about you, but I would prefer that the people of Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District decide that for themselves!
The Fourth District deserves a Representative that actually cares about their constituents rather than their own party’s political rhetoric, which is divisive and does nothing for the district but separate us.
I promise to always put the people of the Fourth District before all else. Regardless of the attacks that come my way, I hope to earn your support over this election cycle. Let’s hold McEachin accountable for prioritizing his political agenda over the people of the Fourth District.
After serving in the Navy for nearly 20 years, I am ready to continue my service in protecting our constitutional liberties in the House of Representatives. People in the Fourth Congressional District deserve a representative who fights for limited government so unelected bureaucrats do not infringe upon their rights and liberties.
The people know what is best for their lives and families, not D.C. elitists and bureaucrats who infringe on our freedoms. A family with a child struggling in school should not be limited by the government in the options they have for their child reach his or her God-given potential. Just as a small business should not be hampered by needless government regulations as they strive to reach their ultimate economic ability and create jobs.
Also, D.C. needs to do more to help those who serve our nation. Many of our nation’s finest go into battle to protect our liberties and lives. However, many of these brave men and women have scars that last well beyond the battlefield. Our Nation needs to do better at serving these heroes well beyond when they leave the service.
During this campaign, I am eager to advocate for conservative principles and meet citizens throughout the Fourth. Our campaign hopes to earn your support as we do all we can to show the good conservatism can bring to people’s lives.
